TJ Flood, SVP Marketing at Canadian Tire is the Overall Winner of Strategy’s Marketer of the Year.  He has helped Canadian Tire get its mojo back and deliver some pretty incredible results.  Sklar Wilton & Associates were thrilled to play a role with the segmentation study that helped crystallize the important questions of Who do we want to win with? And what businesses do we want to be famous for?   Congrats TJ for galvanizing a massive team to action these results in short order leading to growth.

Things are rosy at Canada Bread these days.  Connie Morrison, SVP at Canada Bread also wins a Strategy Marketer of the Year award.  Just like Canadian Tire, she started by asking the right smart questions.  Based on the resulting insights, Connie led the journey to remove the guilt associated with eating bread.  Both product innovation and a strong marketing program resulted in the turnaround of a declining bread category.
