Ten years ago, we discovered the enthusiasm, energy, and thoughtfulness that was Jeanie Ault. After graduating from Queen’s University with a Bachelor of Commerce degree and a Master of International Business degree, we were thrilled to have her to join our team of strategic marketing advisors.
Over the last ten years, she’s helped many of our clients, including Rogers, CARA, Canadian Tire, Sobeys, and Golf Town, solve thorny business challenges, build successful innovations, define their portfolio strategies, and define their purpose. And, along the way, we discovered she’s a storyteller extraordinaire, has a truly helpful spirit, and, no matter the catastrophe that arises, has an amazing ability to remain calm and professional.
Not only has she helped our clients grow their brands, she’s been a key member of our blog team helping to write about and share our insights into the marketing strategy and innovation world. These are just a few of her posts:
- Right Question 101: 4 types of business-changing questions marketing strategists need to ask
- What Principles Make for a Great Customer Satisfaction Program?
- 7 Habits of Highly Effective Clients
And, when we lost our founder, Luke Sklar, she immediately stepped up to honour his legacy by creating an archive of some of the amazing lessons we’ve learned from him.
What do Jeanie’s colleagues have to say about her?
I love working with Jeanie. She is a smart and masterful storyteller who always finds the right words and presents her thoughts in a clear and impactful way. Jeanie has a unique sense of humour that enlightens any mood.
Jeanie is the definition of bringing clarity to a problem. She takes the time and care to pare problems back to the core issues rather than focusing on surface issues. Her arguments are clear and well thought out. She takes care to listen to and seek out everyone’s opinion.
Jeanie is a pleasure to work with. She is a real partner, collaborator, and highly respectful.
When you open up one of her documents, it’s like a breath of fresh air. It energizes!
Jeanie has a killer combination of strategic ability and can-do/move things forward attitude. I’m constantly impressed by Jeanie’s ability to move quickly and deliver high quality strategic thinking.
Congratulations on joining the Sklar Wilton Ten Year Tenure Club, Jeanie, and thank you for being a valuable member of our team!
